OUR APPROACH
VALIDATING THE IDEA
Our first step was to validate the idea & understand if the user would use a product like this. Following are a few actions we did to validate our idea
-
Conducting Facebook ad campaigns featuring prediction questions on popular TV serial apps to gauge audience engagement.
-
Conducting secondary market research to determine market potential and analyze direct and indirect competitors.
-
Creating a quick app prototype and testing it among a small group of friends and family.
STRUCTURING THE UX
In this stage, we start laying out the initial user flows, design low-fidelity wireframes and build the first-level UX of the app which is tested and iterated upon in later process.
To structure my UX approach, I first analyze direct and indirect competitors' apps to understand their UX structure. By learning from established designs and identifying best practices, I am able to refine my approach and create intuitive user flows. This process allows me to not only avoid reinventing the wheel, but also to draw inspiration from leading apps known for their exceptional UX.

ITERATE AND TEST
After designing the initial user flows and wireframes, I collaborated with the product manager and engineers to discuss potential design challenges that needed to be addressed. Through these discussions, we discovered new design challenges that required further exploration and resolution.
Designing the UX of Predict & Win game to be user-friendly for the target audience, particularly those who are new to this type of interface.
Solution

1. Help the user clearly understand the question & show it's related to in first look and not to clutter the screen

2. Once the user clicks on a question provide enough information to expedite the trade decision

3. On the trade screen showing investment to profits to encourage them to buy
